engine cover

right going to paint my engine cover
but i am going to paint it liquid yellow and blackgold
but they wont be heat proof paints
so do i just need to put a heat proof primer on first will that be fine or will it still bubble from the haet
also has anybody got the paint code for liquid yellow

I just used normal primer and paint on my engine cover - lots of laquer and it's never bubbled!

gonna say laquer and it should be ok dude. liquid yellow and black/gold will look the shiz!

the plastic cover will melt before the paint does.

Make sure you use a decent plastic primer, otherwise it may well flake off.
