Can you spray the engine cover in the same paint you would use on the outside of the car just wondering as would like to paint my cover in liquid yellow same as the outside, is this possible or do you need special paint due to how hot the engine get's.

no special paint required. However liquid yellow is a two stage colour, so a pearl coat and a base is required, therefore the paint is quite expensive, and so if you've not sprayed anything before have a practise on something else first with some cheaper paint, as you dont wanna be wasting it.

this is one i did in liquid yellow and anthracite to match the wheels, bit more interesting than plain liquid, and easier on the cost front...

Would anyone be willing to spray mine? I rather like that liquid yellow one? What would anyone want for doing it (including paint etc)?
