Engine cutting out when clutch pressed in!

Car  FF Clio 182 Silver
in the last 1000 miles my clio 182 has stalled when coasting up to junctions at low speeds, the revs drop as they should when i press the clutch in but then they dip to 300 ans the engine stalls.

only does it sometimes and other times its fine.

i was thinking starter motor or idle control valve?

any ideas?

thanks in advance

It wont have an IACV mate but it will most likely be down to a fouled up throttle body. Remove it and give it a bloody good clean and de-grease and it should be fine mate... shiny clean!

My money would be on the ICV

Or not as per mick above lol

Had this issue on a ford KA and it was the ICV.

Cheers guys. The cars going away for winter next week, so I'm gonna strip out the throttle body and grease it up!

There is a connector on the clutch pedal for throttle pedal.Clean it or cancel it and sold directly.
