RS4 480hp,STI 420hp,ELISE
Today, when I floored it in 2nd, around 6500 rpm I heard a loud knock and my engine cutted out. I started the car again and the revs dropped slowly from idle to 0 and again the engine cutted out. It did it about 4 times in a row.
I could keep the engine running by playing with the throttle pedal, but when I didn't do that, the revs dropped to 0 and the engine died slowly. The fifth time I started the engine, it was back to normal.
What can this be?
