Engine fan

Hi all, hoping you guys can help! Recently bought a Clio 182 cup! And had a journey the other day in traffic and noticed my fan didn't work, so obviously the engine started getting hot and therefore just turned the car off to cool down! Any ideas what this could be? Is there a common problem with these?

Probably just a wire knacked or the switch one or the other, have a play / check the cable that goes to it, if not take the wire out and connect to 12V battery and see if it spins like that.

I'd do it via the Diagnostics command myself and then if it still doesn't work put a volt meter in the control wires to see if it's a wiring or physical fan issue.
