engine idle

  Changes to often
my car is idleing at only 750rpm when the engine is warm, when cold its between 1200-1500 rpm, not a huge issue but once warm it idle's abit lumpy, is there an easy way of adjusing it?

There is no adjustment... It will be a faulty sensor causing it. You could try servicing the TB or replacing Lamdas and CTS but I'd recommend a proper check using the live data.

Faulty sensors rarely throw up lights, they just give the ECU incorrect readings which it uses to make decisions about how to run the engine.

can this then effect performance and fuel consumption?

That explains things for me too!

My fuel consumption is very poor for the driving I do.

And it idles at 1200-1300 cold and 750-800 ish when it's warm.

It does feel lumpy/laboured when it's idling warm.

What sensors we talking about then?
Much of a job?
