Engine lagging power

Hi guys, the last couple of days my 172 has started to lag on power!! No miss fire or any other obvious things, Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Suddenly noticeable, or just got worse over the last few months ? Been overtaken by milkfloats !?

That was all done a couple of weeks back so thats all fine

nope. post-cat lambda signal was all over the place. Cleaned the throttle body and it went back to normal.

It was intermitent so never going to be cam timing

yeh i do agree it could be unlikely, but the quality of supermarket petrol does varey

That's true mate, I've only used sainsburys which I think is better quality then somewhere like tescos,

i'll only ever use shell or bp super unleaded, inless its a total emergancy and my cars running on magic then ill probs put a tenner of supermarket fuel in lol

I would rather piss in the tank than use BP super. it's absolute crap
