Engine Leak

There seems to be a light red liquid leaking down from my engine on the left hand side. Could this possibly be power steering fluid or something else?

If its the left side as you look from the front then prob pas fluid. If the other side then gearbox fluid maybe. Gearbox leak is quite common on these.

yeah it is from left hand side as i look at it or right hand side if you in drivers seat. So most likely PAS fluid then?

Seems like it to me buddy. Jack it up on stands and have a good look underneath. A specialist on her will prob replace the section of pipe that usually goes. 519 automotive is your closest I think dude.

yeah its already been to Dan and had the pump replaced about a month or so ago so wondering if a pipe has got damaged or something. Will give him call monday and get it booked in.

I would mate, he's stacked out at the moment! Hopefully he'll get mine sorted next week. Being a pedestrian is no fun!

Could be a leaking PAS-switch or remainig PAS-fluid from the pump change. Where is it leaking exactly? Got a picture?

I can't see 100% where it is coming but seems to be dripping down off the part in the first pic.

looks like it'll be from the hardline. sods law, fix one leak and it finds the next way to get out.

depends which bit of the line, It might just be an o-ring

The only O Ring i noticed when i changed my pipes were where they fitted into the rack, there was no O ring on my hard line into the pump?

dont know if anyone has thought that its could be engine coolant? Red Anti-freeze......??
