Re: FAO Derbyshire Lot - Renault Sutton Park, Burton on Trent
For something like an engine management light I don't know of any other garage I would want to take it to...apart from Birchdown. And thats too far for me this weekend as I'm working.
Cheers Wolfy
And no, I won't be charged. Not as this is the 3rd time in almost as many weeks it's appeared....
Re: FAO Derbyshire Lot - Renault Sutton Park, Burton on Trent
Yea apart from the RTE theres nobody there thats qualified, and definately nobody there thats renault trained! And your mate Mike on reception he got sacked for having his fingers in the till! I LOL'd hard at that! Take it to burton.
Re: FAO Derbyshire Lot - Renault Sutton Park, Burton on Trent
Derby Renault suck bigtime, countless times they have tried to rip me off and fook up my cars, to the point i had to go in 5/6 times a week to get it sorted myself.
Got to the point where i could see several salesman/women hiding in offices so they didnt have to talk to me.
Probably one of my greatest achievements to be honest, love winding them up!
Re: FAO Derbyshire Lot - Renault Sutton Park, Burton on Trent
^^ Glad someone knows who im on about! Thought i was making it up! Chances are if you paid anything to Renault Derby in the past 12 months, it went straight in his pocket! Scumbag.

Re: FAO Derbyshire Lot - Renault Sutton Park, Burton on Trent
It was Adam and Nick before him , they were sound. I went to work for Brownhills motorhomes after Renault, didnt work out tho mate. Im out the trade now though, dont miss it either.
Are you a member of the RAC AA, if so get them to come out and do a diagnostic, they may be reluctant to do so and may sugest you take it into a dealer. Insist they come out. Had the same problem myself and phoned the RAC, diagnosed fault which was the knock sensor, they cleared fault code. If you can DIY then it will save on a diagnostic and expensive Renault labour charges.
