engine managment

Hi all. Was driving around 70 - 80 mph along motorway when me engine managment light decided to come to life although there was no change in the car. It has got a decat fitted but this was done 3 - 4 month ago could it be this.

Took a while for my engine light to come on after decat was fitted (3-4 weeks)

Yours just might be a little slow :S

i had a dec cat fitted 3 weeks ago and the exact same thing happened doing 70 on the motorway it kicks in :rasp:

Yes buddy, that's what will have caused it to come on. Don't worry though it won't affect how it drives

mine took months to come on, around town sort trips its fine, coz your tuning the car on / off
but a good run down the motorway thats when mine has come on , and twice this has happend,
