Engine Mount Adjustment?

Recently my engine started knocking/vibrating really badly under acceleration in 1st and 2nd and also over bumpy surfaces in 3rd.
Turned out the mount on the drivers side had slipped right back (probably due to the shite road surfaces round here). I pulled it back and it's just about fixed it but if accelerating hard in 2nd up hills it still does it ever so slightly.

So the question is. Can the mount under the battery be pulled forward in a similar way? I'd think it would only need to be a couple of mm.

The mounts are all relatively new (1 year or so) and it has a powerflex dogbone so they should be all okay.

Thanks

I've read that people pull the engine forward and tighten them up. But honestly, think about it. You shouldn't have to do that, I am in a similar position, it's not knocking par say (nothing like when I first got the car), but when you push the throttle whilst decelerating there is a bit of a knock. But in a transversally mounted engine you're going to get that unless you have solid mounts.

Cheers Jeff. As said I've pulled and re-tightened the driver side mount which has made a huge difference. Was wondering if the same is possible with the other mount.
It's too cold to take it all apart to find out it can't be done lol.
Your right you shouldn't have to do this but with the car being French and having a relatively big engine in a small place it doesn't surprise me!

Gearboy mount can't be adjusted. Make sure that the big main stud is tightly secured bey the nuts above and underneath. Especially the lower nut is known to become loose.
