Engine mount help!!!

I've been getting the dreaded knock under hard
acceleration , So I bit the bullet and bought a
couple of engine mounts O/S Front by the cam
belts. And the gearbox plug under the battery
O/S easy peasy gearbox plug not so easy.As
when I try and undo the centre bolt through to
the box all that happens is the mount twists to
the point where I think the mount will split rather
than crack the nut. Any one had a similar problem
or advice.

you have to reach under the battery tray and hold the bolt with a 13mm spanner

Is the one under the battery tray the one you can see if you look up the wheel arch, if that makes sense?

Can it be changed from just working under the bonnet, or do you have to access it from the wheel arch?

mine did this it wont break the mount. it does realease the nut. better with a air gun though

I only have access from the engine bay,
With regard holding it with a 13-mm
from underneth the battery tray theirs
little or no access? Thanks in advance.

got garage to do mine and cost me 70 bar

It wouldn't be a Renault hot hatch without rediculously little room in the engine bay to do any work

i ended up removing the two nuts and bolts driling the holes out tap and threaded the casing and used two m12 bolts and some thread lock
(best thing i ever did) never comes loose, no more problems
