Engine noise

Just drove car home from work and can hear a ticking noise which gets louder when i accelerate anyone got any ideas.

Just read it could be the carbon cannister if so would this be covered under warranty?

Also i only bought car last week surely garage should fix it if its gone a week and gone wrong already as i havnt hammered and only gone to work and back getting 35mpg :-( i bought it from renault bury

Take it back and get them to check? Surely its worth a try, if they don't make an effort, ask for a refund !
