Engine Number????

As above does anybody know where it would be on a 2004 182 and roughly how long should it be because there are usually loads of numbers on Vin plate

on the fron of the engine, on the passenger side right next to the bell housing. its etched in with a laser.

Just the engine number cant make mine out because its covered in shitty rust

mechanic is doing a service and needs to know they correct parts because apparently there are a few differances ???????

All 182's are F4R 738 as far as I know mate
