hi guys just want everyones opinion on the best oil for a 172 cup as I hate the tapping engine noise which isnt there all the time but when it is its so bloody anoying. At the moment I use elf i think. Whats your opinions?????????

its not the oil mate. its the pressure release thingy under front off side headlight. it rattles on tickover now and again! its worse on 172 than 182 cos it.s case is made from metal instead of plastic which is on 182. you cant hardly hear it outside car. hope this helps.
You mean the charcole canister yep they can be noisy.
