Anyone know what a resonable price for a an engine rebuild for a valver would be?

Think hillpower charage £600 for a bottom end rebuild, not sure about labour costs. For a full rebuild i have no idea. Im sure some of the others will be able to help you out.

About 2k going by what i paid and what bb charge.

Better option sout there tho - mint s/h engines go for a couple hundred, 2ltr lumps for about 1/1.5k...

i paid about a grand for a full engine rebuild, fitting of cams, gasflowed head, balanced bottom end, clutch fitting etc
