engine revs delay on heel & toe

I'm asking in this forum as people are more likely to use h&t. Do you experience a slight delay from depressing the throttle to the revs starting to rise? My car has a delay of around half a second, it feels excessive. 182 - so throttle by wire, is this the cause or is it my car?

I've had a read up and it seems to be normal operation of the by wire throttle.

Is this at low revs?

The fly by wire gives a delay at low revs/speed 'to make them easier to drive around town'

But once you're pressing on or have the revs up, there shouldn't really be a noticeable delay. There isn't on mine anyway.
