engine starting problems...

ive had my 1.2 for a month now... the engine doesnt seem to start as normal... takes a few seconds before it kicks in... :S

anyone know whats going on or what to check?

need more description, ive had a prob where when the engine turns over it revs at about 1.5-2k revs for about 20secs then drops to correct idel speeds at about 1k 500 revs

like when i start the engine up like when i get into the car it doesnt start as normal.. like normally it would start up straight away but during the past few times it took a while before the engine like kicked in if u kno what i mean, like it finally ignited... it never use to do that before

ymm, could be the Starter Motor?

no i dnt think so if the car is actually turning on, it probs either the coils or possibly the plugs, / leads?

crank sensor i think?

Is it actually turning over ok? As in does it have enough power to start it straight away without having to press the pedal?
