Mk1 16v brooklands
I know I've posted in the wrong section but need help asap!
Problem happened last night! Was driving home and the revs died and the above lights come on.
Thought it was electrical but checked earths and that like Fred said too, then thought is was tps but after some reading could it be coolant temp switch..
I may have found the fault, the limiter is kicking in at around 6500 even though the temp gauge is sat at half way and is ok! At a guess I would say because the temp switch may be faulty and as I'm trying to rev it, it would put the engine management ,stop and temp light on??
