engine swap

Hi.am toying with the idea of putting a 1.8 20v turbo oyt of a vw into my 182 track car am building.does anyone no of anyone doing this?cheers.

Is it a major job fred or not too bad?i have had a bit look for an f4rt but carnt seem to find one with complete engine such as loom,turbo etc.

Basically yes - it is a big job - a lot of custom parts including driveshafts and engine mounts, plus work either needed to the subframe or inner wings usually to make it fit, as well as a shopping list of other bits

Worth the work though, great engine and box in a great car = winner.

Bet when dans is done I wish I'd done that to my turbo Clio instead. Lol.
