Engine Transplant?

Hi all jst found out that my gear box is.. well.. knackered! but lookin on the bright side could use this as an excuse to change the engine aswell so what i'd like to know is if i wanted to put a 1.4 engine into what is originally a 1.2 would much need to be changed i.e engine mounts suspension etc? i know that anything bigger like a 1.8 lump would require alot of work as i've read other threads on here. all comments welcome cheers Lee

To be honest mate a 16v lump is not much more hassle than a 1.4, apart from having to change brakes/loom etc

Any engine is a lot of work realy.

1.8/2.0 isn't any more realy.
