Engine vibration mount

Has any one ever removed that heavy weight from the strut tower that sits under the engine mount, does it make much difference in vibration? Just thinking of weight saving in the cup that's all

yeah loads of people chuck them, but never heard of any other benefits above weight saving tbh

Yea I've taken it out so I'll see what happens I'm sure it will be fine
