Engine Whine - Video Inside

Hey

My car has decided to start to whine above 2.5K RPM.

I had ~
Cambelt kit 2 months back
PAS Pump Inc new Aux belt 2 months back.

What I didn't do was get the whole AUX kit replaced as it was only 11 months old since last replaced anyway..

The Whine comes in at 2.5k and will increase with the RPM. Please listen to the video and let me know your thoughts.
I'm thinking a AUX Tensioner or Pully and maybe the Alternator?
Its going to cost me £200ish to get an alternator, Aux kit and labour which i would rather not need to pay

Just listened to it again and it sounds like an electric motor whine?

Nah mate. It makes the noise in idle when stationary too. Deffo engine

You've eliminated the AC pump??

I had a similar noise on my Ibiza, had been ignoring it - then one day I was fiddling with buttons and noticed the noise stopped when I dis-engaged AC.

I thought about that. The noise is the same no matter if AC is on or not
