2001 A(wful)uthentique
Morning guys,
Have had this problem for a while, but have only just got round to bringing it up;
When i'm driving along, i hear a slight whistling or whining sound coming from the engine. Now, this happens only around 3.5k rpm, and the throttle has to be held it the one position for it to constantly whistle.
The sound is also noticeable when tapping the throttle on idle, and when revving stlightly, and also when the engine is switched off it almost sounds like a 'puff'.
It's a 1.2 8v in my Mk2Ph2, around 37k on the clock.
Any ideas?
