Hum what happened to my earlier post.

Get a whole car thats over priced it will fit need to have the driveshafts made up and the wiring well thats up to you how to do it.

A 172 always going to be better 169hp stock vs 137hp for these 1.8 16V when new and that will have become 120hp maybe over time. Even a 2.0 Williams is only 150hp.

agree with edde tbh, not worth putting it in a Mk2 when you can get a 172 engine that will be easier to fit. However, that engine is rediculously overpriced - can pick up a decent valver engine for about £100.

Thats a bit pricy what there asking IMO.

To fit not to difficult need the mounts realy and the drivshafts making to fit (Not sure if stock one swill fit) then need to wire it p.

Might as well buy a whole 1.8 Vlver though and use the bits then can decide if you want to run the old loom etc.
