what engines fit straight into a mk1 16v?

A 16v/Williams engine is the only one that goes strait in. Williams will need an ECU as well.

williams 2.0ltr, meganne 2.0 litre, 5 Turbo engine, 1.4 rt!!!

Only the 16v or Williams (basically the same) go strait in.

Megane I believe has slightly different mounts.

If you want a 5GTT or any other engine then theres more than just an engine swap involved.
