ESP fault on 182 cup

Hi,I have just purchased a 182 cup.
I have the ESP fault light and service light on.If I turn the ignition off and then back on again it clears both of these lights until I start to drive off,any help would be great.

Ive got that aswell im sure it may be an abs sensor?

I've got the same fault on my 182 cup. The time from starting the car to the service/ESP light coming on can vary from a few minutes to not coming on for a day or longer. I've noticed the steeing wheel is a touch off centre, was wondering if the steering angle sensor was throwing up the fault due to the ESP module getting the straight ahead reading from the ABS sensors on the wheels but the steering angle sensor giving a turning indication.
Would straightening the steering wheel by having the car tracked cure the intermittent ESP issue

i had rust in my abs rings and got reading errors. that was causing my esp/abs light coming on randomly on my 182.
new rear rings and cleaning the fronts fixed it.
