ESP , TRACTION, SERV , ABS LIGHTS

:S hey people ive had my esp, traction :dapprove: , ser and abs lights come on this morning , i heard a slight donk just before they came on, and this is the second time in 2 mounths , and both time its been around -4c so weather thats part of it , its had the break pedel sensor switch replaceds last year for the fault before could it be need to be done again, this in the ony two time its done abs as well , can any one help with any ideas on what it could be , car has new break and disc on the from and the back pad are not very warn. ..... reply soon as if people can thanks chris :cool:

gremlins in the car mate, I used to get that then when I switch the engine off then back on again the lights all go off still dont know why though .

I had a couple of lights come on my 172 and as said switched off and back on and they never came back

Also could be the adjustment of the brake pedal switch again like it normally is. If the brake pressure rises to 4 bar (iirc but its irrelevant) before the lights come on then it flags up a brake pedal switch fault. If you adjust the switch so that the brake lights come on as soon as you touch the pedal rather than having started braking well (like it is as standard) then it won't come on.

Or at least it won't be the switch then!
 
I had these come on (with nearly every other light), and it was the alternator going. It broke down and had to be put on a AA truck!

I'd check get your battery checked 1st. The cold might be doing it in/on its last legs.

This happened to me a few years back. It was damp getting into the engine bay area. I sprayed the whole thing with tonnes of wd40 and I hasn’t happened since
