espace v6 airbox

my v6 airbox arrived today. but i thought it was supposed to be round :S will this one i have still work the same?

not sure. just said espace v6 airbox in the add and had a pic of a espace one. looks like it will fit on

just fitted it quickly and took it or a small blast. seems more responsive lower down than the pipercross that was on it. damn tight fit tho

Its meant to be round mate. Basically same as a ph1 172 but with single inlet not twin

They are, well every one ive seen has been.

just found out its off one thats a 1998 to 2003 model. still works ok just need to get a caf pipe for the underside

That will be no different to the std 182 air box, you need the cylindrical box as it has a much larger surface area and bigger inlet.

How annoying mate, yeah these are off the later ones Earlier ones are like £65 quid new from Renault.

the round ones were used on the R25 V6 models (remember those ?) and the earlier Espace V6 models

Around '98 they started using the square ones

The box you require is the early Espace,which is the same as the ph1 clio box, just with one larger inlet as supposed to the clio's 2 smaller one.

It wont offer much change as it is basically the same as the ph2 box

Unlucky really fella, few people make this mistake.
