Essentials before remap ?

Hello Chaps/Chapettes,

Is there anything that you would recommend doing before having a remap ?

Ive just had a service of Oil, Oil filter and air filter.

Anything else worth changing or doing ?

Yeah probably K-tec as im not far from them really.

But now im thinking about how cheap it would be to just buy the Rs tuner and do it my self....

Good IK set up, de cat maybe.

if you only have 'basic mods' I would go for a RS tuner over a 'live' map.

go to k-tec. what mods you running? worth getting a decent exhaust and a good intake setup to get the most from the re-map

Ive got a full 2.5" system, front to back. And just a K&N Panel.

Ive just bought an RSTuner from fastchip .

Thought it would work out cheaper, and with all the functionality of the tuner I thought it was the better deal.

Hopefully it arrives soon, I want it now !!

I'd certainly go for matched inlets bud go for performance package 1
