Awesome stuff! Right here we go...

Our options are:

Individual Driver Events for Adults (16yrs+):
Individual Racing / Full circuit
All drivers on track at the same time / Exclusive use
Use of the 50mph Race Performance Karts
Podium presentation
Trophies 1[SUP]st[/SUP], 2[SUP]nd[/SUP], 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] place & bubbly




Individual Enduro:
(1) £48 per driver – 5 min qualifying session / 30 min race
Enduro Sprint:
(2) £58 per driver: 5 min practice session / 2 x 10 min heats / 20 min final
Iron Man Enduro Challenge:
(3) £68 per driver – 10 min qualifying session / 50 min race

I did discuss with GoodJ about the Ironman race but I reckon a 50min enduro might be a bit much for some of those who haven't been karting before. With that I've highlighted the race which I believe is the best option for us all.

As far as dates are concerned I will say it's definitely going to be a Sunday so looking at either 16th or 23rd October. The woman is giving me a call next week to arrange a date so these are subject to change however I reckon we'll have no issues getting one of those dates.

I'll ask a mod to add a poll so that we can go on majority vote

Wick - They said they'll sort out numbers once we have a date and a healthy 'definite' list going.

Basically need to decide on the event of choice and then we'll discuss the date.

Ironman or bust.

Not doing a 3 hour round trip just to do 20 minutes in the kart.

Hell, it's not as if the karts are going to be any harder to live with than a 1.172 on bump-stop suspension over da twistieeeezzzzzzzzz.

Dates are completely flexible, I chose those at random so we'll have a peek at some alternative dates once we see how many people want to do what event .

Iron man for me- I used to do the 1 hour at buckmore & it was that bad.....

you'd be surprised at how tiring karting is on your hands and upper body strength.. some people might not manage it! i'm up for Iron man though! +1 on best value for money

Yes they 100% do!

I karted round that for 40mins in torrential rain. Even the marshalls said we were mad lol! Got soaked but it was very fun!

Right so we're manning it up and going for the Iron Man then?

Right Guys and Girls! I really want to get this booked up so I can start looking forward to it!

I'm going to speak to the track at the end of this week and get our date Sunday 30th October reserved for our SE Cliosport event - The Ironman!

Format of the race is as follows:

10 Minute timed qualifying session
50 minute race
Trophy award ceremony with bubbly lol.

Price is £68.00 pp.

There is a track minimum of 12 (this is not the max though). I can promise that everyone who attends will have alot of fun so please add your names to the definite list below and I will contact the track at the end of the week. Once the date is reserved I will set a week deadline for payment and then we can start looking forward to our event!

One of the most demanding and exciting go-karting circuits in the country. With a variety of bends and cambers and at a huge 8 metres wide this circuit offers a varety of racing lines and multiple overtaking opportunities - easy to learn, but hard to master!

I usually collect everyones money through paypal as then I have a record of who's sent what. However I'll ask them if you can pay seperately once our deposits are paid. I can't see it being a problem .

Any idea on arrival time as i usually work until 4 in the morning the night before? if its an early arrival time il need to book the night off before reasonably soon
