Stock turini offset is 38.5 mm on a cup. A 40mm offset will make no difference as 1.5mm is a pretty close match. Have them on my 172FF and they will rub if lowered too much....ok at -30mm.
You will find Turinis fitted to Clio's on here the 172 Cup ET38.5mm or 182 Trophy Anthracite Turini, which is different. Not sure where you got 40mm Turinis from but like I said above, there so close to stock you will 110% have no problem with lowering, especially on Eibachs that lower from 10-30mm depending on Pro or Sportsline.

well the place here is looking £250 for refurb, I can get between £250-300 for my turini's as they are and i can get a set of new turini's in white for £499
