ET40 offset turini's on 172 cup?

Has anyone ET40 offset turini's on there 172 cup? IF SO ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL?

WHAT ABOUT LOWERING? ANY RUBBING?

16" TURINI'S BTW.

Stock turini offset is 38.5 mm on a cup. A 40mm offset will make no difference as 1.5mm is a pretty close match. Have them on my 172FF and they will rub if lowered too much....ok at -30mm.

has anyone any experience of ET40 offset and eibach sportline springs? any rubbing?

You will find Turinis fitted to Clio's on here the 172 Cup ET38.5mm or 182 Trophy Anthracite Turini, which is different. Not sure where you got 40mm Turinis from but like I said above, there so close to stock you will 110% have no problem with lowering, especially on Eibachs that lower from 10-30mm depending on Pro or Sportsline.

yeah not sure where you got that offset from but as said 172 Cup Turinis are ET 38.5mm and the 182 Trophy Turinis are ET 45.

why do you ask though cos i'm assuming you already have 172 Cup Turinis on your car??

yeh selling the originals though and getting new white turini's. There only avail in ET40 and ET35 on aftermarket turini's

why not just get yours powdercoated white - surely that would be the cheaper option and that way the stock fit will still be there??

well the place here is looking £250 for refurb, I can get between £250-300 for my turini's as they are and i can get a set of new turini's in white for £499

thats what i was thinking very few places over here do them though. £60 a wheel to do them in white. And an extra £10 for a wheel thats curbed.
