was this today?! i was at brands earlier, rolled in on the off chance at 4pm to see mg and porsche racing. was awesome. got in for free mind.

Didn't spot this one hidden within a fairly standard looking race meet (I'm guessing they can't attend most circuits within that package due to noise regs), excellent stuff though, must have sounded superb.

Yes, was at Brands Jay at 2.45. True... was a bit of an odd supporting line up, but then it was an MG meet. I think it was their last race too.

What's the deal with these? Genuine ex-factory cars?

Yeah, F1 cars from the turbo era to pretty modern day stuff. I think the Benneton may have been Schumacher's first winning car.... There was also an Indy 500 winner driven by Montoya racing and an F2 car. The Indy car was driven so slowly that some of the MGs beat its lap time... so a chasm between some drivers!

Was there yesterday... That benetton car was SO much quicker than the rest. He came off early on and feel back to about 8th place.. within 3 laps he was first again.
