Evo anti lag VIDEO

antilag... read somewhere that the Evos got some anti-lag system. Can look again but if I remember correctly the thing works by delaying the ignition. Fuel is burned just in the begining of the exhaust manifold... something like that.

std evos came with it disable... dont know about Evo VII.

i was in an evo 7 extreme s raving a diablo and the antilag was firing flames everywhere, f**kin mental it was 165 mph officer

Hows it work that? I know you need a turbo, cause i know a gezzer with a Escort Cossie whos sounds awesome! BANG! BANG! BANG!

Not sure if this is anti-lag or not..the flames are happening when it is bouncing off the rev limiter so it might be the result of the unburnt fuel in the system. I would expect to hear a very loud bang and crack when he whips his foot off the throttle but it doesnt.

The anti-lag on this is probably down to the re-circulating air BOV, to keep the pressure in the system up.
 


SEE the other post saying pooping sounds. that describes the anilag system, its very clever stuff, keeps the turbo on boost even from very low revs!
 


The guys only taking it up to about 3.5-4k, then letting off the throttle. IMO it dont look heathy and would get fooked off with it after a while.
