antilag... read somewhere that the Evos got some anti-lag system. Can look again but if I remember correctly the thing works by delaying the ignition. Fuel is burned just in the begining of the exhaust manifold... something like that.
std evos came with it disable... dont know about Evo VII.
Not sure if this is anti-lag or not..the flames are happening when it is bouncing off the rev limiter so it might be the result of the unburnt fuel in the system. I would expect to hear a very loud bang and crack when he whips his foot off the throttle but it doesnt.
The anti-lag on this is probably down to the re-circulating air BOV, to keep the pressure in the system up.
Two types of ALS, mild which holds the turbo at around 0psi at tickover when warmed up (getting rid of the vacumn), and WRC which is crazy and can hold it at 20psi plus. Mad! It is illeagal for road use.
