exact sizes + weight 172 standard alloys?

When I bought my 172 it had stupid wheels on it so now I'm trying to get a standard wheels. But to arrange a courier I need the exact sizes and weight of the wheels.

well a 15" ox f1 with a 195 50 15 tyre is roughly 59 x 59 x 21 (all in cm) and weighs a mammoth 17kg. bet the 16" are practically the same

17kg with a tyre. I know because I've just had to sort delivery of one! I thought they were meant to be light too.
my 17" nervasports with 205 50 17 tyres only weigh 19.6!

Use Paisley freight to courier them mate. They list all the usual services, like 4 wheels, 4 tyres, exhaust, bonnet etc etc

Think they do 4 wheels for around 25 quid. Great service, never had a problem

Yep - £27.99 I've used them a few times with no probs, quite a few ppl have problems though - google alloy wheel courier you'll see what I mean. I've always found them spot on and quite helpful on the phone if you have to ring them for something

Oh really? I've sent and recieved wheels and tyres a fair few times and always really fast and never damaged etc they don't ask about weight, just the size of the wheels

It was just bare wheels, how much does a tyre weigh roughly?

Got one quote so far which was 91 quid

I weighed a 15" OZ F1 with Parada spec 2 tyre and that was 15.2 kgs

16" Superleggera with S Drive weighed exactly the same

I forgot to say that I'm located in the highlands of scotland which is extra postage. Rediculous tbh! And very annoying.

That's what I said earlier about lots of people having issues with them, But I've used them 5 or 6 times and they've been fine.

The only set of decent wheels for sale that I could actually pick up were tourinis but they are too expensive for me at this time of year

I will be flogging my standard 172 alloys in a couple of weeks, maybe less. Depends what kind of condition you want them in, I'm guessing in very good condition?
