Ive created a validate selection for Yes/No in each row, is it possible for this to be linked with a colour fill for the entire row? I.e If the user selects yes from the list, the whole row fills green and red for no?

Yes, you need to look at conditional formatting. It's pretty easy.

You don't need to use VBA to do what he's asking.

Highlight the row/column.
Conditional formatting.
New rule
Format only cells that contain
Change box to specific text containing
Yes in the next box.
Press format button to show how you want it looking, ie, red fill black text.
OK.

Repeat process for no cells.
