Excel line graph help!

OK I am pulling my hair out!! how can something so simple be so bloody difficult!

I am try to make a two line graph in excel, but after spending the past hour I cannot get the figures on the correct axis!

I can't upload excel files on here!

So the data is:

Year.......Data 1.....Data 2
2011.....95....95
2012......107...124
2013.......99.....113
2014.......79......148

I was like the year on the horizontal axis and data 1 and data 2 on the vertical axis as two lines so its easy to compare the two.

Line graphs have never worked for me in excel, never understood what they're supposed to do lol! I always use a scatter graph with lines for stuff like that. Like so:

Is that the kind of thing you're after?

Thanks for taking the time to reply guys yes that is what I am after! Is that scatter graph a program?

No problem the graph was just taken straight from Excel 2013, only changed the style to make it look like that.
