Exhaust blowing..

My newly fitted exhaust is blowing inbetween the decat and the centre section, i have tried tightening the bolts up to the max but its still blowing abit. Tomorrow its going to be re-fitted with exhaust paste, any tips on doing this?

did you fit a new clamp?? the clamp round there is really a one use only affair

Fred, can you buy the clamp for the 182 variant as a separate piece? Everywhere I've looked simply has the standard exhaust clamps?

Yeah a new clamp was used but im not sure if the guy used paste, its going to be re-done properly tomorrow

Yeah, the cat - exhaust one is kinda shaped, to fit over the lips of the two parts. The standard clamps are just a piece of threaded bar (essentially) bent into a U shape with a bar on and two nuts.

Nah it was a clamp which came with the centre section piece. Why's that? possibly a different size clamp needed?

I understand but no, this is a specific clamp, i think it just needs some paste TBH
