Exhaust dropping problems . . . not the usual mount issue either

  172 cup
I've fitted a scorpion cat back this year which to my surprise came in three pieces from the cat back not like any others I've seen which come in two pieces. Anyhow after about a weeks driving it twists on the rear joint where the back box join causing the tailpipe to come away from the back bumper.

It's a royal pain in the arse having to re-adjust it every week. I fitted it without paste or high temp silicone, maybe taking it off and pasting up the joints would fix it but Im optimistic? Any ideas for a solution? Clamps will not physically go any tighter by the way and are the ones supplied by scorpion

Sounds like you need to do up the clamp tighter if I'm honest mate. Get another clamp if that fails, i.e a new one that is 100% correct size, do it up tight as hell and then double bolt if you really have to.

it's the sleeve type mount fella, and its done up that tight its crushing the two ends together ha. I did think this, but I just assumed scorpion would send me a clamp that would be fine for the job seen as it was supplied with the exhaust for the purpose of fitting it

  Dodgy one
Probs say its been flared too much TBH. My milltek was exactly the same, I resorted to high temp silicone to seal it and a couple of tacks with the welder so it didnt move again.
