Exhaust fitting query

I've not even got under the car yet but can someone clear this up for me please.

Here is the standard what looks like 'v' clamp from cat to centre section.

Here is the janspeed centre section that replaces it.

I don't think I'm being an idiot but can someone explain (or reassure me) that new will marry with the cat.

Yeah it will all fit, the join on the cat is the same and the clamp holds it together.

You might need a new clamp when fitting the new exhaust, bit of a nightmare getting the old one off. They changed the design on the clamp to this which makes it easier.

Cheers for replying, I've been thinking about it and the 'u' clamp on the picture of the new system above is that doing anything? Is it holding what is effectively that extension tube in place?
