Exhaust heat shields (under car)

Has anyone got a good fix for rattling exhaust heat shields?

Been under the car with bigger washers to put on some bolts where the shield has rotted, but some bits are too rotten, or the bolts have snapped off.

Any ideas for a decent fix?

I was thinking tiger seal but not sure how well it will stand up to heat...

I used stainless cable ties (look on ebay) for the same on an old Focus

Maybe because if the heat shields are generally in good shape, then a good fixing solution would be a simple and cheap fix.

How crazy is that!
