Exhaust Hole

Where I fitted my new backbox yesterday the joint is obviously not sealed properly as I can hear a hiss.

The exhaust sounds proper meaty with this hole though so I'd like to keep it the way it is.

My question is, will this hole create any power loss?

Also does it have an effect on fuel consumption?

I think you will lose some power. Depends how bad it is. Not sure on fuel consumption tho

My exhaust has a small leak around the mid to BB section which I can't be f**ked to fix...hasn't made much of an impact on fuel consumption for sure as I can get 40 plus on the M-way.

I suppose it does depend on how large the hole is.
