Got my exhaust mount from renault for £22 then to make it more stronger cut 3 pieces of copper piping and put 3 pieces of coolant hose over the each piece of copper pipe then put 1 pices at the bottom of the mount in the gap and the other 2 pieces in the top corners ill get a picture and show you your exhaust will never hang low again.

Because it just makes it that more sturdierand more stronger and with the coolant hose it sits in there really nice so wouldnt move about i think if u didnt use the coolant hose it would move about etc

What mm piping was it btw? And why bother with the coolant covering?

Because if your using metal piping it will cut and wear through the rubber of the clamp in no time

Plumbers copper piping just about does it all be it a very tight fit. The thinner stuff not regular size

That is copper piping from a plumber which i have used 1/2 inch copper piping but woth the coolant hose it just absorbs the movement and also liek said stops it from wearing the rubber
