My cars been making this kind of shaking, blowing noise from the underneath for months now. Have taken it to the garage a few times, first time they replaced the cat but this only breifly stopped the noise and it came back again. Ive just taken it to a different garage today and they got it over the pit and have said that one of the bolts have broke which hold the manifold and cat, and this is what is causing the noise. Its now booked in next week to have the broken bolt drilled out and a new one fitted.
My question is does this sound right, and is this what could be causing this noise? The noise can be heard when ever I accelerate.
