Exhaust Problems

Have a 182 cup 05 plate , was wondering if anyone else has had problems with the exhaust. Noticed it awhile ago started to get louder and screamed when you accelerated! Took it to renault said cat had blow, so they replaced it. Everything seem ok for about a month, now it sounds s**t again !

have the sensors lit up?

182 exhausts are known for being a little bitr prone to noise/ knocking.
Might be the baffles?

at 26k mine had rotted to fook and one of the lambda sensors needed replaced as the exhaust gas light was on.

never gave any problems before that.

Well turns out the CAT was not changed last time it was the box after it . But there is a crack on the cat just before it joins to the rest of the exhaust! Back to RENAULT!
