Exhaust Wrap



It would do on a tuned up car, I very much doubt it on a standard car though. If it were too all manufacturers would use it.

it may keep the heat down in the engine bay area if you were to wrap the manifold.

unless you take the manifold off i think it would be a nightmare job to do and not worth the effort! its meant to be really irrantant to your skin too iirc?

yes it will help a little bit. Basically heat wrap increases power and reduces under bonnet temperatures. Wrapping the exhaust manifold maintains hotter exhaust gas temperature. These are less dense and exit the system more efficiently....
