Hands up who was in the group buy for a H&S - how much did you all end up paying?

Anyone got a Yozza? How's that working out for you?

Anyone rate a Magnex? I'm a sucker for those slash-cuts

I feel the time is right to dump the toilet pipes that came from Renault, but i don't want to be deafened, or get a headache on the motorway so want a more 'civilised' snort. Would it be possible to tune the exhaust to start screaming only after 5000rpm?

Would lagging everything from (and including) the manifold backwards help insulate the sound?

Surely, in keeping heat away from the engine bay, it will help improve performance a smidge too?

Any advice would be simply smashing...

by lagging i assume you mean wrapping? to wrap the manifold will cost you £££

our 182 exhausts are loud (around 98db unsilenced with decat) but we have the option of silencers

You can get wrap for 30 quid cant you?

Am I being thick? What am I missing? Is it worth it? Will it change the pitch of the exhaust? What year is this? Who is the president?

to wrap your manifold means removing your subframe, removing the exhaust manifold and spending about 6-8 hours wrapping the bloody thing

crap job, VERY time consuming!

I have a yozzasport exhaust and decat, i well chuffed with it sounds awesome when you give it beans!!! BUT at the same time ytou can actually talk to your passenager with out having raise your voice!!

Plus it has freed up some of pull at low revs!
