exhaust's love rust.........

Started up the car on the way home this evening and hear a rather loud rattaling so i turned off, got out and check underneath. Saw a very very rusted piece in the middle (sorry i dont know the part) which was hanging on by half the pipe. Can someone please tell me what part ill need and how much it will cost to fit. Get quotes and see if its worth the hassle, just that the last time i went to Kwik Fit and other similar places, the prices were extortionate, worked out cheaper in the end to get a stainless system, ring around though, you wouldn't believe the difference in prices just in your area.
