just a few questions

the car had a new exhaust fitted just 7 weeks ago (before i bought the car) and after a long road trip to oban and back ive found that the rubber is missing from the back box and the whole exhaust is now hanging down. can i just buy the rubber mount from renault or is it the whole bracket that is required?heard about how poor renault exhausts are so can i upgrade it?

do 172s come standard witha s/s manifold?after i had the cambelt changed last week the mechanic said he hadnt seen a s/s manifold on a renault before but it was only the 2nd 172 cambelt he had done?

any help is much appreciated

you dont have to go renault just go to a car shop they should have one
its normaly like a figure 8 or it could be a x type 1

as far as i know mate you have to go to renault as they are part of that metal bracket,iv just replaced mine,cost £17 from ren

if its the rear bracket of the exhaust then you can get this from k tec cheaper as well i think or hit a scrap yard up should get one well cheap down there

Check exhaust places first. I got one from near me for £12 genuine renault part. Guy fitted it for me £20 all in.
